What’s the best way to find Peace and calm inside your body? The answer is Yoga. It surely takes you higher out of this world for some time in some solace but it does require some professional guidance too to achieve that level of concentration. And when it comes to taking out some time out of your busy schedule, the process just stops. But what about a home tutor who will be guiding you through each and every step and will not charge you even a single penny. Isn’t it great! Let’s talk to the teacher.

Yoga Free is an iOS app that has been developed by Arawella Corporation for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later. As already clear, the app includes more than 250 unique poses of Yoga with all the poses categorized according to level of skill and type. Each pose includes detailed instructions on how to perform it with photos. Also, you can perform pre-set routines available within the app. You can also buy new packs. Moreover, you can create your own program with the help of ‘My Programs” button. On the top of it all, a calendar is available to track your previous sessions and schedule.

The display of the app sounds to be a little bit girlish. Whether it is the background color or all those photos of girls showing the pose, but it is. Other than that, the user interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate in between the different tabs. The app is fast and performs well. One of the better features includes independent descriptions for each pose with pictures. One of the features which we missed in recently reviewed gym app was video guidance and we are happy to announce that this app has both audio and video guidance.

The yoga app has been rated 4+ on App Store and must be. It covers each and every aspect very beautifully and cleverly. Yoga tunes specially designed for concentration will also be provided. But if you prefer your own collection, you can play it as well using your iPod player. Also, in program mode, you can set the duration of each pose and easily track your time spent on each pose every day.

Overall, this is a remarkable app. And who could predict it to be free if it was not declared! It is just amazing getting all that stuff for free. Although there are some in-app purchases available, still the stuff you get for free is very valuable. So, if you are looking to try this sport as a beginner, this is the app for you to take you from the start to the extreme.

Pros: free, beautifully designed, 250+ poses with pictures and detailed instructions, audio and video guidance, yoga tunes available.

Cons: Feminine interfaces, no. of poses are enough but there are many more to count.

We will give this app 5 out of 5 stars.
