We mostly keep only those documents and files in our phone that are important and can be asked for any moment. I have this iOS app for you called Younity developed by Entangled Media. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.0 or any later version of the OS.
Younity works on a very different concept. You can use it for Windows as well as Mac computers. But first of all, you need to download their Desktop app from www.getyounity.com. Install that app on your desktop, create an account and let it scan all the files on your system. Once the scan is done, your job is almost done. Now install the app on your iPhone or iPad and open the same account. Now it’s done! You can see all the files that are stored on your computer on your phone. You can access them, download them, edit them and even share them with others without getting anywhere close to your PC.
Younity breaks the conventional introduction of cloud server. Here, you don’t have to upload any file to any cloud server. The files on your computer are never moved. Using the app, you can download them and share with others. But you can’t delete them. So the data on your computer is always safe. But it also means that you have to keep your computer on as long as you want to access files from that system.
Younity is a very beautifully designed app. When the data is scanned on your PC, all the files are automatically sorted out as music, videos, PDF, Word, etc. no matter how disorganized you are. Also, Younity makes sure that your data usage is minimal. So while you can always view the different files as they’re located, only when you download them for offline use or open them online is that your data is actually accountable for.
Younity completely replaces your computer. You can download pictures, edit them in other apps and share them via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on-the-go. You can send private messages to friends and share files that’ll expire automatically in 7 days. Moreover, these files can’t be shared with anyone nor they can be downloaded. You can also access different cloud servers such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive all from the app.
