Many of my friends work for MNCs and it’s a regular day to day job for them to be going out of station. Though it’s a great way to hang around different places and visit famous countries, the problem arises when they have to spend their own money for their expenses and then show those bills in their office for compensation. It’s really a tough job to collect those bills for every expense no matter how small it is and then keep them with you. Also, many of the expenses can’t be billed and therefore that much amount goes from your pocket. However from the organization point of view, there are many forged bills showing more expenses than original and ultimately result in a loss to the company. So there must be a way to increase transparency and decrease the paper work and here we have it.
I am talking about the new iOS app called Travel Budget App. The app has been developed by Gerasimov Philipp and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.1 or any later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

This travel budget app is surely the one which was needed from a long time. You can perform all the tasks with ease and there are provisions to store important data in the app and never care for the bills and tickets. Here’s how it’s all done. First, create a tour and start adding different categories to the list. There are some pre-defined categories in the list like shopping, meals, etc. though you can add more as per your requirements. Then start adding bills to each of those categories. Other than adding the numerical values, you can also add up to 3 photos and receipts for each of those bills so that you may store them as proof and show them later in the office as PDF docs. You can also add names of the persons who were present at the moment.
There is a geo-mapping feature also integrated with the app. All you have to do is locate yourself on the map and then add that location on the map along with the expense details. So each of your bill has a location tagged to it so that your boss knows that you were at the right place. This app can readily be used for family trips because adding and editing expenses is so much easier that you won’t be missing a moment of happiness with your family. Also, there are 88 different currencies available in case you’re switching countries regularly and that too with time to time updated exchange rates.
The app is available in the App Store at a 65% discount for $0.99. I think the price is perfect and ultimately it will be giving you back a lot of that green paper. So it’s a worthy deal!
