The story goes like this. A cute little kitten once used to live in a house with her parents. One night, she was all alone at home and was feeling bored. So she decided to get out of the house for a small walk and used the lower opening of the gate to get out. But she forgot that her parents had locked the gate before going and the lower opening can only be opened from the inside. So as she tried to get back, she failed to do so and that’s how the problem perceived. But a look from the inside of the house discloses that the parents have actually provided an alternate method to open the gate. So will you help her to open the gate so that she can come in!
It’s the iOS app called Let The Cat In that this story belongs to. It has been developed by Eforb Games and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
The gameplay is kind of a puzzle where you have to find the right physical relation between the different elements. There is a rope attached to the gate that goes over a pulley and you have to pull this rope by arranging the other elements. The different elements are wooden shelves, pulleys, L-pipes, etc and there is a ball that will pass through these elements to finally strike the pulley that’ll pull the rope. These elements can be placed anywhere and if they’re already fixed, you can rotate them about their axis. Another thing to keep in mind is that you have to collect as much stars as you can or all stars if possible because that’ll be your bonus.
I really liked the graphics for their not-so-great finishing. They are delicate but designed with curiosity. There is a cartoon-like theme that goes very well with the gameplay. There are strings, pulleys and all other elements and using rigid hi-tech graphics won’t have been a good option with them.
There are 3 different doors and each such door consists of 40 levels. The first door is open for you to enter at the very start of the game but the rest two can only be opened after clearing the first stage. The in-app store has many offerings such as 10 cute kittens to choose from or you can open the next two rooms as well. So overall, there’s a lot of content to check out in this one.
Summing up, I think this is a great game which anyone can play and enjoy. The app comes for free in the App Store but as I told you, there are some in-app purchases as well. But that option totally depends on you and you can enjoy the free version as freely as possible.
