The starting years of a child are the best days for his growth and we want our child to nourish in the best possible environment. So we try to keep them happy in every possible way. They’re made to feel as if the world is even more beautiful than what their eyes can tell them. But while doing so, we have to make sure that the whole process is “educational”. You can’t just isolate them from the world and expect them to grow. There are a lot of academic programs nowadays which use image data and interactive sessions as a means to educate the children and help them get past the early stage difficulties easily. We have one such program in our review centre tonight!
I’m talking about the latest iOS app called The Smartest Kid: Underwater that has been developed by First Games Interactive. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 1.5 or any later version of the OS. So virtually it’s compatible with almost every Android device that’s active today.
This app takes your child on an underwater journey where he’ll be introduced to many different aquatic animals like turtles, starfish, octopus, crab, shark, etc. But even if we’re talking about Shark, they won’t frighten your child at all. In fact, they’re all cute and beautiful animals that you and your child can only adore all along. These animals will become friends with your children and the most beautiful part is that they’re always happy. There’s a constant happy charm in this game that keeps your child smiling like a rose.
The puzzles are just perfect for a 5 year old or younger. There are two gaming modes where you have to find the right animal to match the empty space on the screen. The drag & drop option makes the game simple to use and understand for young children and you don’t always have to guide them in person.
The graphics of this game are just amazing. The bright locations, the flamboyant colours, cute characters and the overall underwater scene are just spectacular and the developers have really managed to capture the essence of the sea. There are lots of puzzles and every time you open a new window, there’s a new place outside. So your child can play this game for hours without a second of boredom. The vivid animations blended with some relaxing notes in the background enhance the overall scenery and even you, as a parent, would like to take a glance.
The app is available in English and Russian and is available for free in the App Store. Though there are some in-app purchases available, you can totally enjoy this game even without them. So let your child handle the steering and sail the ship to a new destination, underwater!
Pros: flamboyant colours; bright locations; adorable characters; two gaming modes; puzzles; vivid animations; free.
I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
