In recent months, my society has filled up with many different kinds of dogs. They are cute but what I like most about them is that they don’t bark much. They are lovable, peaceful and full of playable activities so that you can spend your whole day with them without anyone else in the house. Now I wish to have someone like him in my house but I don’t like cleaning his toilet and shit. So I want such a pet that makes me laugh, spends time with me and doesn’t want anything in back. Though this is almost impossible, but Talking Duke Dog made this possible when this app came in the iOS store. Now the second part of this gaming series has finally arrived in the market. So what are you waiting for? Suit up to get yourself dirty!
Talking Duke Dog 2 is the new iOS app that has been developed by Cloudburst Games. After the huge success of Talking Duke Dog, it was expected that the second part will be released and it has been. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or any later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
There have been many similar interactive apps in the past featuring different animals such as Talking Tom where we had crazy cat and Talking Frog featuring an insane frog. All these games are very much similar to each other in terms of concept. For example, Talking Duke Dog 2 is different from its first part in terms of fun activities involved; the rest of the concept is still the same that you’ll be touching his belly, asking him to do some crazy stuff or talking to him so that he may repeat the same words to you in a different tone.
But if this stuff keeps on entertaining the users, that’s what the developers will be doing and there is surely a lot of entertaining stuff this time. You can ask him to squirt ketchup on himself, flush the toilet and lick the cat and much more. This part is as impressive as the previous one but now is the time when I think we should get over the original concept and start bringing something new to the table. Okay we have some new activities but it’s very similar to releasing Fast & Furious 6 and anyone can tell you how much different and entertaining it was.
The app is available for free in the App Store but there are many in-app purchases to unlock many of the playable interactions. You can also remove the ads via in-app purchases. Overall, I would say that no doubt, the app is very good but they could have introduced a new feature this time.
Pros: amazing graphics; beautiful cartoon-themed characters; funny voices; free.
Cons: no new feature introduced.
