It’s a human tendency to act lazy and delay any kind of work. Maybe it’s inertia or something else, but that’s why humans cannot be regarded as machines. We don’t want to be machines at all but we certainly do need to acquire some of the qualities from them like discipline, sincerity to work, punctuality, etc. I am personally very lazy and till I’m given some kind of “extra push”, it’s very difficult to get a reaction from me. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5 so you may enjoy the latest Retina Display graphics. There are lots of other countdown apps in the market right now. So, how this one does differentiates itself from the others and is superior to them, let’s find out.
The app is a great example of features and execution. As you start with a new task, there are many customizable things for you. You can change the font of the text, select the units in which the countdown time will be displayed i.e. seconds, minutes, hours, months, etc. Also, you can change the background colors which are not normally found anywhere else. So, if you are planning a birthday, you may be greeted by a beautiful red theme or something like that. Moreover, you can also select an icon for each reminder and add notes to your reminders like the to-do lists.
You can select the time when you will be notified and the no. of times you want it. The biggest advantage of the app is that you can take screenshots of your countdown and share it with your friends. This is of great advantage in case of a social event such as a farewell party, birthday party of your friends and many more. You can send your reminders via Facebook, Twitter, email as well as SMS. The UI is of great advantage both being simple and easily navigable.
The app is available for free in the App Store. But some of the features we discussed above are limited only to the paid version of this app. The paid version is available for $0.99 in the App Store. There is no reason for me to recommend any of those over the other one as both of them have many great features to attract you. This app has been since quite a time in the store now and doing very good. So, we will highly recommend this one to any of you.
