The universe is full of questions, don’t you think? If there are things that you don’t know about, then whether you question it or not, there’s no answer in your pocket for the same. So if I ask you why moon is white when it shines due to the light of the Sun which itself is Yellow, it might be the first time you heard of that question. But it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. So as soon as you’ll start asking such questions to yourself, you’ll start getting the answers as well. But nature isn’t the only question, is it? We have news channels broadcasting 24×7 and each new happening around the world raises a new question. But you can’t just get out and start asking questions hoping to find the answers hidden behind them. You’re looking for answers but where are the questions? Here, you’ll find some of them with answers.

I am talking about the latest iOS app called Nanpisa that has been developed by Nanpisa. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

Nanpisa is like an expedition where you go on several journeys one after another and each journey is unfolds several new chapters of this universe. But completing a journey requires you to answer the questions they pose to you which are related to the journey in some way. Actually, all these journeys are short video clips which will be shown to you and there’s a message behind each such clip. The clips are short and therefore you must see and listen very closely or you’ll miss the catch. After the video is over, questions will come up and you have to answer either true or false. After you give the answer, another video will come up to explain you the correct answer. The content of the journeys varies from countries to the inter-stellar space via cultures. There are news topics from the past as well. The whole idea of the app is not only to check your knowledge but aptitude.

Each correct answer will fetch you reward points and these points will keep accumulating under your points table. If you succeed to gather enough points, bonus journeys will be unlocked for you. There are many journeys but only the first two are free. Each next journey is available for $1.99.

The main idea of the app is to help you understand things in an interactive way. The sessions are short but the idea of each video is very clear. They can be cut-outs of documentaries or the part of news, but they’ll always strike you straight. There’s no time-wastage. However, for the videos to run buffer-free you need a good internet connection or otherwise the journey will take a long time to completion.

Overall, Nanpisa is really an interesting app to look forward to. It’s available for free in the App Store. So what are you waiting for!

Pros: intuitive UI; short video sessions; multiple journeys; educational videos; first two journeys are free.

Cons: none.

I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
