Who doesn’t want to laugh his heart out on his friends if he/she gets a chance to do so? These small packets of light are what make the big circle of darkness of life look so smaller that it can even be ignored. Joking on your friends is not a big issue, but making “good jokes” on them is what takes effort. Imagine yourself standing in a group and you just make a joke on the weakest target, but even that doesn’t make a single one of them laughs. Then the worse happens when he kicks you back with a stronger one and you are left with nothing but a “smirk” smile. But now you can show your sense of humour in a more planned way. After trying a few little experiments, show them to your friends. The only difference now is that it leaves no one standing quiet, not even the person you’re laughing on.
I am talking about the new iOS app called Magic Mirror Booth that has been developed by Guillaume Fleury. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
This app is as fun to use as it’s intended for. All you need to do is open the app, take some shots and then apply any effect you like. You can apply more than one effect at a time and all of them are available on the screen so that you can apply and remove them freely. But the fun is not limited to photos. In fact, just shoot a video and as effect, change the pitch of the recorded sound. This really makes a real-time bizarre video that you won’t have expected. You might be thinking that if it’s just the sound, then why to shoot the video? But the combination really works out in the best possible way.
The different effects available are Squeeze, Warp, Stretch, monster, Ripples 1, Ripples 2, etc. with 3 of them for free and the rest 6 are available under the pack of additional effects for $1.99. Also, you can buy the voice pitch effect for $0.99. I really liked the monster effect and the voice effect. They are unique and not available in most of the other apps in the same category. The developer used the video tool very cleverly introducing the pitch effect. This doesn’t make the system complex and still keeps it fresh and interesting. Couldn’t have been better!
The app is available for free in the App Store but you already know that there are some in-purchases as well for the full version. On the whole, this is a very good one for you to try out.
