Suppose you’re talking to your friend and suddenly an unknown face comes in between you two and starts laughing. Isn’t that irritating? Similarly, when you’re chatting with a person, only the two of you are meant to be involved in the conversation. If there is a third person listening to you, it’s cheating and bad manners one would say. But it happens all the time on your messengers. Whether you’re aware or not, but your messages are mostly stored on servers where they are vulnerable to attacks. It’s like an open vault and there’s no shortage of thieves looking for money. So in a time when you chat, share your pictures and videos all at one place, you can’t risk your social life as such. So it’s the right time to take the right step.

I am talking about the Android app called Vipole Secure Messenger that has been developed by Hiliard Management. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 2.3 or any later version of the OS.

Vipole Secure Messenger lets you exchange messages, share images and other files with your friends but they are all encrypted so tightly that there is no room left for anyone to read your messages. Even your chat history is encoded. But this messenger is not limited to text messages but there are options for voice calling and video calling as well. If any of your friends has this app installed in his/her phone, then you two can talk for free over internet. There are even provisions for group voice calling and video conferencing. So no matter where your friends are, you all can hang out together now with Vipole Secure Messenger.

This app also has cheaper options for international callers. There’s always an option for free calling if both of you have the app. But if anyone of you doesn’t have it, then you can buy credits which are by the way far cheaper than usual call tariffs.

The app is super easy to use. The familiar UI is pretty much like your usual call book and therefore you get instantly clicked with it. There are many customizable features such as in-call voice, sent messages, profile passwords, etc. There is a Desktop version of this app available as well. You can use one account for both the versions. The Desktop version (Linux, Windows and Mac OS) has some extra features such as task manager, encrypted password manager, calendar, file manager, etc. So you can remotely access your account as well and make changes which will be reflected in both versions.

Overall, I really liked this app. It not only provides you a safe and secured way of messaging but the voice and video calling options make it a complete package. You can’t miss this one!

This app is available for free in the Play Store.

Pros: intuitive UI; free voice and video calling; group chatting and video conference; encrypted messaging; cheap international calls; free.

Cons: none.

I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
