I don’t know where to start from about this app because there’s not much to talk about. First, I’m going to review the Android app called Crappy Ship that has been developed by ME ashino. The app is compatible with all the Android devices running Android 2.3 or any later version of the OS.
I was wondering why the developer chose the name “Crappy” ship for the game but now I know the reason. The ship is creepy in fact. When you’ll open the first and the only page of the app, you’ll see a ship sitting still in the air and waiting for you to give it a push and start its journey. As you tap on the screen, I’m pretty sure that for the first time you’ll die right on the spot. It’s because you don’t know what’s coming next. You have to keep tapping at the screen to make sure the ship flies. You have hurdles in the form of walls which have gaps in between them and you have to pass through them.
But the problem lies in the sudden rise and drop of the ship. I have played these kinds of games before as well, but the change was gradual then. Here, when you tap at the screen, the player will go suddenly up and it’s more like jumping. But in between your two taps, the ship suddenly comes down as if the gravitational force has exceeded its limit. That makes this game much more challenging. I think it’s good from a player’s point of view because otherwise, it would have been a plain mission with no challenges and ignored as a bug.
I don’t know who the developers are but I think they are new in the business. It’s because they have kept the game very simple. There is a ship flying in the air and you have to make sure it passes all the hurdles. The more walls you cross, the more medals you collect. They haven’t even included any social media for the users to submit their scores and promote their app. It’s a kind of experimental project to me.
I think you can spend a lot of time on this game if you just want to kill time. it won’t make you laugh or bring a tension on your face at a difficult stage, but it’ll make sure that you don’t get bored. You’ll have to stick to the screen as long as you want to survive. The background graphics are static with only the ship moving and that as well in an abrupt way.
Overall, it’s a mix reaction to me for this app. It certainly isn’t the one that’ll excite the adults. But yes it’s almost the best app your child can enjoy. It’s pure gaming with no distractions at all. But first your child must learn how to fly a ship!
