Now what’s common with all Match-3 games is that you have to match certain number of different coloured items and then they vanish away making space for new ones to come and replace. Here again we have a similar concept. Fluttabyes is about helping butterflies flying away from the box they’re stuck in. So when you match four same-coloured butterflies, they’ll all fly away. The game continues this way and this was the basic gameplay. But the game offers multiple modes of gameplay.
First we have the survival mode where you’re fighting against time. So your moves have to be quick and agile. Plus, you’d get extra time for every match you make. So accuracy plays an important role in how long you are able to survive in this do-or-die world. Next we have the endless mode. Actually, it can be more appropriately dubbed as the “practice” mode because here you have no time limit and you can play as long as you want. So before entering any other mode, you must go through this one first and sharpen your skills. At least, you can get acquainted with how-to of the game. Drop mode tests your swimming skills against a storm. Here while you’re solving a puzzle, there’s a constant incoming flow of more butterflies and the rate keeps on increasing thereafter. Rush mode can be the most addictive because all you have is a 60-second time duration and you have to clear as much road as possible.
