If I ask you the name of a bird that can’t fly, can you name it? Yes, it’s the Penguin. Then why is it called a bird? Well, that I’ll answer sometime later. But right now, I have another for you. Can sheep fly? That seems to be an easier one on your brain cells, but what would be your reaction when I tell you that they can! Puzzled? Everybody would be and would remain in that condition of abnormality until and unless he gets his hands over this game called ChuckTheSheep where some new laws of Physics are being created.
ChuckTheSheep is one of the latest and hottest iOS apps that have released recently. The app has been developed by Intelligent Apps and it’s really a game for intelligent people. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
In the context of the game, sheep and Penguins are friends. But we find that the Penguins have been caged and being friends, the sheep decide to take them out. The sheep have devised an instrument to reach the Penguins and break their cage. It consists of a block of wood, a fulcrum and a heavy weight. You have to slide the fulcrum to an appropriate position and then drop the weight so that the sheep flies through numerous hurdles all the way to the Penguins and make them free. It might sound a bit confusing but it’s not. It’s bamboozling!
Each level in ChuckTheSheep is a puzzle; a physical one where all the rules of nature and gravity apply and therefore you have to find a logical as well as practical solution to the problem. You’re not in here to find the missing pieces and put them back to their places but you already have the complete picture and it’s very confusing. There are many elements like big rotating wheels, barrels, flying birds and many more and they’ll all moving. These same elements can turn out to be your hurdles if you can’t work out the right path. So to catch the fast-moving train, you first have to pick up that pace and then jump; risky but necessary. So you must find a way to use them to your rescue. The logics are interesting but meaningful and therefore you’re not being cheated by solutions that are unfeasible in the real world.
This addictive gameplay is as significant as are the animations. They’re smooth, flawless and authentic like they should be. The overall scenery reminds you of the countryside and it’s a beautiful view. The colours are soft, soothing and natural and help you connect with this world. Moreover, the cute characters of sheep and Penguin mixed with some funny sounds add to a wholesome treat.
So overall, ChuckTheSheep is an amazing game to get your hands over. It’s available for $1.99 in the App Store.
