Bin-Glo : Let’s See How Many Can You Shoot

In the past recent time, I have been through a lot of bubble shooting apps and I must say that I rarely found any difference while admiring the works of any two different developers. It is a very popular platform that has been used by many to fill their pockets. But I’ve always said that there needs to be regular change if you want to bump a dead thread; otherwise it will be only you to be the player. So, now we have one more from the bundle but I think it’s got something different that it’s been able to make it to the surface. Let’s see if it’s just another duplicate or has the potential to be kept in a separate vault.

I am talking about the new iOS app, Bin-Glo that has been developed by Mecca Bingo Ltd. But despite the name, this is not the famous Bingo game though it’s very much the same when it comes to entertainment. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.1 or later version of the OS.

There is so much to talk about the game. Let’s start with the game play then. There are about 8 bubbles at the top of the screen with each one of them circling a number. Then as the game starts, bubbles start coming at the middle of your screen also having some numbers. Then, you have to find the bubbles with the same number as the top row and shoot them by firing a ball off the spring gun. But you have to be fast and accurate as you’re always running against the fast paced time.

There are two main gameplay modes: Classic and Maze. While the former is easier comparatively, the latter one consists of walls as the obstruction for your balls hitting the bubbles. But what’s a game without twists and turns! And believe me; this one is full of them. You can earn power-ups to boost your time limit like Golden balls while there are fireballs as well to reduce your life span to one-third. So, you have to be cautious not to touch them. Other than the conventional modes, there are plenty of crazy modes such as Dancefloor, Portal, Cross-eye, Laser, Minefield, etc. While in one case, bubbles are always in motion, there are times when all the bubbles other than the targets are Fireballs.

The graphics of the app are very crispy and beautiful. You can always find a reason to play this game. Maybe it’s the addictive gameplay or the hunger to unlock more and more achievements so that you can unlock more of the gaming modes. Also, every fifth level is a “shadow” level where you have to give your best shot against a shadow. So you can see that the developers have really worked hard to take out new things with this package.
