How many times have we suffered the tragic loss of our hard earned money to some uncontrolled data surfing! I am talking about the latest Android app called Data Status that has been developed by Flavour Monkey. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 3.0 or any later version of the OS.
Data Status is a very straight-forward and simple app that does what it says with simplicity without saying a single word extra. We’re talking about the tracking of your data usage and that must be accurate so that you get to use every last bit of your plan you’ve paid for. In the app, you just have to add the starting date of your billing cycle and the allowed amount of your data usage plan. If you’re currently in the middle of your billing cycle, even then you can add for adjustments. So you see how simple it is to start with Data Status!
How Data Status helps you is that it keeps you notified always with your current usage just like your battery meter which also tells how much you’ve got left in your pocket. So you don’t have to keep opening the app again and again as the notification bar is on the top of the home screen. But yes, there are many insight reports that are available in the app. So there are daily reports based on your daily data usage and also some predicting charts that tell you if you’re going to survive this month if you keep going at this pace or not. These charts are really helpful to warn you on time and therefore help you cut your unnecessary usages before they rot down the last days of your ending month cycle.
Overall, Data Status does what it’s meant for and that’s to keep a check on your Data usage and keeps you updated with that. You’re never off road and that’s a good sign that you’ll drive well!
