Challenges are good; especially if they’re a bit frustrating. For example, the first time that you learn riding a bicycle, it’s the most frustrating yet enjoyable experience. They’re the moments that you never forget for the rest of your life because behind all that exhaustion of falling down and rising again and again, there was a zeal and curiosity of how it feels to ride your own bike and set a race with your friends. So the very moment when you finally hit the paddle, get on the seat and the wheel keeps rolling as you feel the breeze of fresh air, it’s amazing! But while it’s raining outside and you have to sit inside your walled house, it’s a bit irritating and boring as well. But why are you waiting hands-folded when you can create the same magic inside; inside your Android phone!

If you’re losing the sight, then let me clear it up what I’m talking about. It’s the latest Android app called Tilt the Gaps that has been developed by Benyam Ephrem. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 4.0 or any later version of the OS. So let’s check out what all the hype is about!

Tilt the Gaps is just the exact copy of the image I portrayed above. You’ll be facing a challenge that’s quite intense, difficult and obviously, frustrating. Your first few attempts would all be sacrificed to get you a hint about what you have to do. But starting from the scratch again isn’t difficult for a beginner, is it!

Here, you have a ball that you have to pass through the gaps by tilting the device. But if you hit the solid walls, your game is over. The gaps won’t all be linearly arranged but follow a random pattern that only The Almighty might know. So as long as you’re immortal, you’ll have to keep a close check on the next as well as the next-to-next gap to make sure you’re prepared for a sudden change of track. The game is endless and therefore, the more gaps you pass, the higher your score will be and each time you’ll be starting with a better aim and a higher addiction level. The game, though already challenging at the initial stages, will get even tougher as it progresses with the gaps coming-in at greater speeds and the same randomness.

The developers have kept the game as-simple-as-possible. This is a “pure” game and I literally mean it. There are no side-shows but just the main circus that’s going to entertain you a lot. The in-game graphics are good and leave a kind of “hallucinating” effect on you as the colours keep merging along with the ball which sometimes even gets lost with just a shade visible to your naked eyes. But at the end of the day, you’re going to enjoy this game a lot. There are some advertisements, but they won’t bother you much. But if you want to shoo them away, you can do so via in-app purchases.

This app is available for free in the Play Store. So make sure you get your hands on it today!

Pros: pure gaming; challenging but addictive tilt gameplay; good graphics; free.

Cons: none.

I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
