Racing is a passion. There’s a force, bigger than the thrust of your car, driving you crazy when you put your feet on the acceleration paddle. You are not looking for any competition neither do you want to prove anything to anybody but you want to test your own limit. How fast can you go? How will it be to take that turn at 300miles/hour without applying brakes? Can this car go beyond the speed its metre shows? These are the questions that fill up a driver’s mind if he’s really passionate about driving and his car. Remember, it’s you who sets the rules for the car and not the car to set its own rules on the road. So today, we’re about to start a journey on wheels and let’s see how far can you follow us on the road.
I am talking about the latest iOS app called Racing Tyres Space that has been developed by Olivier Parra. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.1 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
When I said about the journey on wheels, I really meant that because we have no body here to sit on. We just have a wheel and that’s what will be running for us. So let’s put everything into it. The game is about driving on different tracks and completing the challenge as soon as possible. The difficulty is two-fold: first the tracks have been designed very complexly and second, the game is too fast for you. Yes, the game runs at 60 frames per second and a blink of your eyes can cost you your life. So make sure you’re ready for it or you can go to the back seat and let your younger sister handle the steering.
Controls are simple as you have to just tilt your phone in the direction of the track. But as I said, the track is very complex. You just can’t understand the exact pattern even if you keep driving on it for the whole day. You never know when the next turn comes, which way will it turn and how will it turn. You can only guess but guessing won’t take you to the next level. So you need to keep your eyes open and concentrate your mind on the screen. Everything else is just a hoax!
Talking about the graphics, I think the developer has tried to give it a 3D space look and for me, he fairly succeeds to do so. There’s a nice blend of colours as well which helps us to visualize the space. The images are sharp and leave an overall decent impact. The gameplay itself is addictive and makes it completely enjoyable for as long as you want.
