Talent is not limited to the walls of Theatres or production houses. It’s only the mainstream data that is known to the world. But there are many home-made photographers; artists that can make the world go upside down with just a glimpse at what they are capable of. But no matter what talent you have, it requires a large investment to reach the public. This is the turn that marks the end of most of the careers. Similar is the case with ipad. There are millions of apps but none of them helps you with publishing solutions. Don’t let your heads down! Tactilize has just landed.

We are talking about the latest iOS app, Tactilize, which calls itself as the iPad content network (and it truly deserves to be). The app has been developed by Tactalize. It is compatible with iPad only and requires iOS 5.0 or later version. Now, how the app works is very similar to how WordPress serves the world now.  The app is like a App Store for all the artists who not only want to publish their content on the iPad and connect to the world but also in a classic representation of the work in an economical way, much like an author connects to its readers with a magazine. So, if you are a blogger and love to talk to your fans, this is the app for you.

The app requires you to login with a username and password at the start. The developers have designed an easy to use web interface at www.tactilize.com for designing the layout for your content and the app for displaying it. It also offers templates for your articles and blogs. Adding content on the app is a matter of seconds as you can import anything including text, images, and videos from major cloud services like Dropbox, Facebook, Instagram, Evernote and Flickr. You don’t require any technical knowledge in the entire process. Just click ‘publish’ and it’s on the iPad to be admired by the other Tactilize users. Also, you can add links to your website in the content.

The app features four different sections. In the ‘featured’ section are the most popular cards (that’s what they call each creation) making their way to the homepage of the app. You can also find the latest posts or find the updates to those you are following. You can open the articles, read them, and play the embedded videos in a manner very similar to that in WordPress. Also, you can share your cards via email, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter to spread the word and comment on each other’s pages as well. With fluidic interface and easy controls, it ensures that even a beginner can publish his content easily. The app is available for free in the App Store.

So, overall the app is a good one. It truly marks a revolution in the field. However, as the user community grows, it will surely emerge out to be a strong platform for the newbies.

Pros: easy to use interface, content import from major cloud services, sharing.

Cons: Yet to be found.

We will give this app 4 out of 5 stars.
