Sometimes while skipping the channels, I used to come across bowling games but rarely did I stay on the channel. I wasn’t really into this game and didn’t like it but the situation has changed ever since I’ve seen Walter Ray Williams Jr. playing in the court, I’m a true fan of the legend as well as the legendary game he’s a part of and only after watching him play did I realized that there are many skills to be honed to master this amazing game of skill and technique. The goal is always the same but there are so many different ways to achieve it and the only way to guarantee your success each time is keep practicing more and more. So for all the passionate lovers of this game, here we have an app that’ll make sure that you keep practicing even when you’re not on the court.
I am talking about the iOS app called PBA Bowling Challenge. The app has been developed by Concrete Software and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or any later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
There are three different gameplay options in the game: quickplay, career and multiplayer. In quickplay, you enter a match and the game continues. If you win the game, you can play another game but it doesn’t matter of how many matches you’ve lost or won. The career mode is the essence of this game. You enter a mission where you’re going against the top 21 players in the world. But you’ll not battle them directly but first showing enough efforts that you deserve a match against them. Level after level do you reach higher and it gets extremely difficult at higher levels. In the multiplayer mode, you can battle against your friends or you can call out anybody randomly.
The developers have made sure that you get the actual feeling of bowling in a court and similar to different weights and power of different balls, you have 30 different balls to play with. Adding to the list, there are other balls with some virtual characteristics such as the split ball which splits into two when you tap on it and the bomb ball which explodes. They will surely help you to achieve your target at the earliest. Similarly, there are many different oil patterns to unlock with your achievements. Also, you get a global leaderboard where you can compare your scores with your friends and check out where you stand against them.
With such high quality graphics and brilliant stuff in your wardrobe, it’s very difficult to maintain a free price tag that the game has. So there is no point of leaving this game behind and going to check out a new one for the time being. It has been very successful in the market and you should download it as well.
