The main purpose for a person behind joining a gym is to find a professional trainer that’ll guide you properly and help you achieve a better build in a more efficient and say, the right way. He’ll keep you pumped up during your sessions keeping you on your toes and push you even more when you’re about to give up. But is that all? He can’t keep a check on you all the time as there are other attendants as well to be taken care of. Each body is different and an exercise that is weight-reducing for some guy might not be that much effective for you. You must know if your sweat really counts or is it all because of the broken AC? Coming down to the basics, it’s all about how much calories you burn each day. So where’s your calorie-sheet?

If you don’t have yours right now, download Fit Weightlifting and start keeping a check on the calories you burn each day. Fit Weigthlifting is the latest iOS app that has been developed by Brandon Lehner. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 8.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

On the very basic level, Fit Weightlifting is a calorie calculator that you burn each day exercising. But more than that, it’s also works as a manager for you just like your gym trainer. You can add in all the exercises you do each day including the ones that you perform on a rotation week by week. Then you may further add the number of sets, your heartbeat rate during the exercise, your height, date of birth, etc. But all of this information is not mandatory to be filled up. It’s to give you more accurate calorie calculations but they’re quite satisfactory otherwise as well.

There are two slick widgets included in the app curriculum. While the first one called “Me vs Me” compares your today’s activities with the ones you did on the same day in the past week, the other widget compares your “completed vs remaining” exercise schedules. The app uses graphical notations extensively to point out your stats for each exercise individually. It gives you a better insight into the calories you’re burning per exercise and allows you to decide how much time you should invest on each of them.

The dashboard gives you a quick view into all the exercises that you have to perform today. It also keeps you updated on your goals for the week and you can always see the count of calories you’ve burned in the present cycle. The layout of the app has been designed with simplicity and smartness with every single bit of information just a tap away. It’s very easy to switch between workout and goals and therefore you’re always aware of your present and probable future.

The app is available for $1.99 in the App Store. So make sure you check it out today!

Pros: burned calories calculator; slick widgets; graphical stats; streamlined interface; fit for your goals.

Cons: none.

I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
