This is not a game where you pick players and depending upon their star value, your team wins or loses the match. Here, actual field play happens and the players from both sides actually tackle each other. You trace the run on the field with the swipe of your finger and this is the path that your players will follow. The game starts with a kick and then you return with the ball. After you cross the yellow line, you are in the kick goal range and you earn your team 3 points. But if you manage to go all the way to the final touchdown, you earn 7 points. Each such game consists of 3 trials for both sides and the runs of opposite teams are automatically scored as per the difficulty level.
Each win earns you points that you can spend in upgrading your team skills and signing new better players. The better your team is, the more are your chances to qualify for professional leagues and tournaments where opposition is very strong and difficult to go through. So both your defense and attack are tested.
The graphics of the game are good and the game has been very neatly designed. Despite managing several players at a time, you won’t feel it to be a hectic experience. The controls are very easy and a tutorial at the start of the game clears up everything. It’s a very easy to play game overall and that’s another reason why it’s so addicted.
So overall, I’d say that Ted Ginn is an amazing game that you’d definitely enjoy playing. The app is available for free in the Play Store. Though there are some in-app purchases, you can play the game indefinitely without them as well.
