SEETIME – A MEASURE OF THE FOURTH COORDINATE

Some scientists believe that time is the fourth dimensional coordinate of the world. While it’s changing forever, it has always remained the same. There were always 365 days in a year, 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute. The equation is as accurate as nature. But the other side depicts a different picture. World is always changing and so is the time. Past, Present and Future are the three pillars standing at a distance that can never be covered. You can never recall your past or foresee your future. But now the time has come to derive some new equations and lead the legacy in a different direction. We have not yet developed Time Machine but a sneak-peak into future is what we all need, be that my any means. So let’s combine the three pillars and see what happens!

I am talking about the latest Android app called seeTime that has been developed by Gilles Kerhousse. The app is compatible with all the Android devices running Android 4.0 or any later version of the OS.

seeTime is a two-fold application. It can be used to calculate the time difference between any two time frames. So whether you want to find out the exact age difference between you and your mother or if you’re just curious of knowing how far you were born from the last Supernova, seeTime is just the exact address you’d want to consult. All you need to do is enter the dates and this app will provide you with the data in terms of whatever format you’ve asked for. The present date is always used as a reference. So if you want to calculate the time difference between World War I and the present time, you just need to enter the time of war and the app will automatically calculate the difference. However, if you want some other reference, you can select it in the future clock.

The other side of this app is very interesting. If you just want to know what the headline was when Albert Einstein died, you just have to enter the corresponding date and start the internet. It will show you the search customized for that particular day. In fact, this feature is also available for future dates. So if you’re just anxious about knowing what our world will be after 20 odd years, go search for it and you’ll find your answer.

Overall, seeTime is a very interesting app. It’s all about time and helps us understand its impact on the world. It not only helps you to understand the exact time difference between any two particular incidents but also can take you over the journey between the two limits.
