Have you ever watched Pokémon in your childhood days? If you don’t remember, let me remind you that it was a cartoon show where the main aim was to become the ultimate trainer. Some of the determined trainers were on a journey to catch new Pokémon and if they find them, they catch them and later train them to fight for them later. It was never easy because each Pokémon had its own qualities and it required patience and understanding for each trainer to take full advantage of his Pokémon during a fight. I don’t know if the show still airs on TV but what I know is that a very good replacement for it has aired on your Android device. So let’s check it out!
I am talking about this new Android app called Minox that has been developed by Ubergames Pte Ltd. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 2.3.3 or any later version of the OS. You can find the app under the arcade & action category. But it will cost you 84MB on your SD card and that’s really a very big size for an app. So let’s find out the reason for this big size.
The gameplay of this app is pretty much the same. You will be exploring different areas and catching these wild creatures called Minox. They are really dangerous as well as cute and catching them is just a part of your job. Then you’ll have to take care of them, buy them different items and train them so that they can be levelled up and fight against your enemies. You will find your enemies online where many other players are following the same rules and everyone wants that ultimate title of Master Trainer.
Just like Pokemon was not only for children and many grown-ups were also its fan, similarly this app is not only for children. Though the characters are too cute and it’s not the same as Pokemon, but standing on the other side and working as a trainer is a complete different thing and I really liked it. Then there are 6 different locations to explore and there are 100 levels for you to train your pets and level them up. Also you have to complete quests and some hidden projects to level up your training. These quests are very adventurous and you have to collect uber coins as well to buy items. The more you complete the higher level you reach. Talking about the graphics, they are very good with amazing characterization and the big size gives you a hint of that.
The app is available for free in the Play Store. However there are some items in the game store which can only be bought with money and uber coins can’t be used there. Overall the app is very good and you should definitely go for it.
