It happens with almost all of us. We’re not working in the same field we’re actually made for because we don’t know yet. So there are engineers who can make some brilliant pieces of artwork and there are salesmen who can be the biggest ad-makers of their time. But before you can nab that opportunity, first you must recognise it. We’re always so busy in securing a job first that we don’t pay proper respect to the job profile. It’s only after years that we regret our decision when we’re finding it hard to cooperate with the working conditions. That’s why there are many counselling institutes who properly guide you on your career opportunities. But we know how many of us actually take out time to visit any of such institutes especially when they charge you for that. But if they come to your home for free, will that be okay?

I am talking about the latest Android app called Good.Co that has been developed by Good.Co Inc. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 4.0 or any later version of the OS.

The sole motto of Good.Co is your “self discovery” and how do they do that is a question you should definitely ask. So the reply from their side would be “via conducting a Myers Briggs Personality Test (MBTI)”. Yes, they’ll ask you some simple questions and while they won’t have a serious face, you must answer them seriously because they’ll measure everything around you. Whether they’re your relationships with friends and family members or your personal strengths, everything will be measured in terms of your answers.

There are many different sets of questions for each such quality. MBTI is a scientific test and therefore questioning its legitimacy won’t be a good idea. Once you’re done with the tests and your results are out, you’ll be properly guided on whether you’re at the right place or you should go somewhere else in your career. To make it even better, you can import your network and work history from LinkedIn and the app will get you the best match of company and people in your circle. You can also share your qualities with your friends in your network and get to see their qualities as well. If you know a person really well, you’ll also get to see the qualities matching his/her character in his profile.

The interface of the app is very natural and spontaneous. You don’t need to put in some extra thought in getting familiar with the app. As far as the accuracy of the results are concerned, you can decide it yourself once your qualities are highlighted. So overall, it’s a very good app which is already being credited to have changed the lives of many. So if you want to be a part of that happy group, check out this app today!

Good.Co is available for free in the Play Store.

Pros: know your strengths and relationships with a simple MBTI test; import your LinkedIn data and find better career opportunities; simple to use; free.

Cons: none.

I will give this app 4.5 out of 5 stars.
