There are many ways to decorate your memories. Photo albums are probably the best as you can store as many photos you want and there are many delicate ways to frame them. Also, they are very much presentable and you can have them printed anytime as well. So today we’re going to review one such photo album app. But if you have a decent Smartphone, then it already contains a built-in photo app with nice features. So if we’re going to review a photo album app, it must be unique on its own. Let’s find out what it has got!

I am talking about the latest Android app called Globus Photo Album that has been developed by JinJ Team. The app is compatible with all the Android devices running Android 2.2 or any later version of the OS.

Going with the name, this photo album gives a “globule” shape to your photo album i.e. all photos albums are in the shape of a globe and I’m just imagining how this idea was never used before. I mean viewing photos over a rotating globe is as fantasizing as watching different continents on the planet earth from space. Then as you click on a certain photo, you go inside the photo album and then it’s as traditional as any other photo album.

Apart from these exceptional viewing models, the app has lots of other features that make it everyone’s favourite. The most amazing of them that I really liked was “trip album”. Trip album is a feature which creates automatic albums for you. So when you’re about to go on a trip, you can just start automatic creation and all the upcoming clicks will be stored in that particular album. You can add all the details initially like album name and details and you can change them later. This is much like you’ve changed the destination folder for all the photos for the time being and though it’s very simple, yet it’s probably the first time that it has been used and very useful as well.

You can also save your photos according to the location where they were clicked using GPS coordinates and find them later the same way. You can also apply password on a particular album if you wish. Sharing your photos is very simple with Globus Photo Album. You can either share the complete album or individual photos. There is a sharing button at the top which allows you to share images on Facebook. Similar is the procedure for downloading photos from Facebook. However, if there could be support for some more cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive, then it would have been much more better because then people could upload their photos directly from Dropbox to Facebook and it would be fast as well as a good option for people who don’t keep everything on their phone storage.

The app is available for free in the Play Store and even after missing some, it’s a very good package for everyone.

Pros: intuitive UI; stylish views; trip album; integrated Facebook sharing; free.

Cons: only Facebook is available for sharing photos missing Dropbox, Google Drive and other cloud services.

I will give this app 4 out of 5 stars.
