Well summers are going on and it’s the vacation time for many of us. Some will be visiting hill stations with their families while some will be touring exotic locations with their friends. But most of us will be lying like lazy dead bodies in their homes like me trying to figure out the best way to kill their time. So while you’re still scratching your empty minds and getting irritated sitting alone, let me tell you one very simple and smart way to cash out some time quickly. Just open up your Android device and search for Fat Pig in the Play Store. After installing the app, open it and the rest you can figure out yourself. But for a start, let me elaborate some of the details of the story for you.

Fat Pig is the latest addition to the Android market and is compatible with all the devices running Android 2.2 or any later version of the OS. Of course, when you’re sitting alone at your home, then it’s pretty often that you feel hungry. So here we have some cupcakes and cookies in this app. But beware; there is a hungry pig that is willing to finish up all those sweet cakes by himself. And the bigger thing is that to win the game, you’ll have to help this cute little pig eat as much of those cakes as possible.

The gameplay of the app is pretty much similar to Mario, at least on the outline. You, as the pig, are travelling across different platforms and jumping off one to another while making sure that you eat all those cupcakes as well as time the jump perfect. If you fail to do so, you’ll encounter many different obstacles such as black holes, falling rocks, etc. While falling in a black hole takes you down into a deep blue sea and you enter into a whole new world. Then you’ll be swimming and flipping around in case of falling rocks.

Whenever the pig jumps, it seems to be floating in the air. There are many manners in which the game can be considered to be good but still it can’t be compared to Mario. The graphics are good but not that much boasting that they can carry the whole game onto their shoulders. Other than that, there are 20 different levels and though the game seems to be very much easier in the starting, it definitely gets a lot tougher later. That is why the game is being promoted for both infants and adults. Also, you will progress to the next level only when you get three stars which depend upon how many cupcakes and cookies you have collected.

The app is available for free in the Android Play Store and is definitely one to look out for. So, go for this one.

Pros: good graphics; 20 different levels of gameplay; interesting elements like black hole, falling rocks; free.
